More Plants: Roxana Mayer, Maria Isabel & the Sheila Jackson Lee town hall/greenhouse

Patterico has been johnny-on-the-spot with this one.
Here’s a quick recap. Roxana Mayer shows up to a Sheila Jackson Lee town hall event. She pretends to be a doctor and gives Lee a softball question. Not only is Mayer not a doctor, she’s sitting next to Maria Isabel, an Obama campaign worker (the one pictured with the Che Guevara flag). It gets even better. Mayer is not just a fake-o-la physician, she’s a leader in Obama’s civilian douchenozzle corps Organizing For America.
Let’s set aside for a minute the fact that a bunch of true believer Obama-robots show up to a town hall meeting, fake their credentials and help let an elected official off the hook on the most pressing domestic issue of the moment. What does it say about Teleprompter Jesus’ health care deform plan when his supporters have to create elaborate fictions to try to sell it? If the Pelosi/Waxman bill was so great, it wouldn’t need this much chicanery to drum up support for it.
If something works reasonably well, it doesn’t require huge distortions and planted stories to get people to buy into it. If socialized medicine worked even kinda-sorta okay, you wouldn’t hear horror stories coming out of Great Britain and Canada about long wait times, rationed care, denial of services, shortages of doctors, etc. In fact, you would be able to see and read about the successes. You’d see people from all across the globe flocking to the People’s Republic of Canuckistan and United Kingdom of Toothbrushphobialand to get treatment. You’d hear about it from family, friends and coworkers. More importantly, the numbers would back it up.
The fact is that Obambi and the Democrats have dispatched their media allies, union droogs and now planted audience members and questions, inserting them into debates to get traction for their health care plan. All that means is we’re winning the debate and St. Barry is losing. Big time.
