IRS: “Ummm ACORN, you’ve got cooties”

Via Patterico, some more fun news about our favorite community organizers:
The Internal Revenue Service has severed ties with ACORN, saying it “would no longer include ACORN in its volunteer tax assistance program” that offered “free tax advice to about 3 million low- and moderate-income tax filers” this past spring.
What could’ve possibly spooked the IRS about ACORN?
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh…right. The tax-evasion advice for an illegal immigrant underage prostitution ring. Yeah, that.
What is amazing is just how long it took for the tax-dudes to figure out that they had to roll ACORN under the bus.
