Manuel Zelaya continues to delight

I used to be annoyed by the deposed psychocratic leader of Honduras. Now, I think Handy Manny is totally rad.
It’s been 89 days since Manuel Zelaya was booted from power. He’s sleeping on chairs, and he claims his throat is sore from toxic gases and “Israeli mercenaries” are torturing him with high-frequency radiation…
He sought refuge at the Brazilian Embassy, where Zelaya said he is being subjected to toxic gases and radiation that alter his physical and mental state.
…Witnesses said that for a short time Tuesday morning, soldiers used a device that looked like a large satellite dish to emit a loud shrill noise.
The man we’ve decided to support in Honduras is hitting all the high notes of fever-swamp bullshit. Israeli conspiracies, killer radiation, secret sonic weaponry-my God, Lyndon LaRouche was right. [sarc/]
Here’s a question. How does a crusty paranoid Honduran strong-man sound so similar to an American college age trust fund leftist? The amazing thing about Stalinists is that no matter what shithole you dig them up from-Venezuela, Syria, Berkeley-they all mouth the same brainless pap.
In any case, good luck Honduras. The US has decided to back the wrong horse, specifically your wrong horse. Oops.

This story is amazing to me. I´ve ranted on the blog and Twitter, but it gets no traction (ok, like pretty much everything I write/rant). But the fact that Obama has sided with the law-breaking, Chavez supported asshole Zelaya, and completely ignored the Honduran constitution and rule of law, and not even many on the right seem too concerned about it, is really just a little too much for me to handle.
