A Wrap-Up of Georgia Political Candidates
Posted by KingShamus on July 11, 2010
We’ve got another electiony post going on here. With this one, Kristin from her Mish-Mash takes a look at some Georgia candidates for the 2010 elections. I like this dig at a particularly douchey candidate.
Began his career in politics in 1974 when he was elected to the GA Senate. Barnes was elected governor in 1998. His claim to fame was removing the Confederate battle symbol from the GA state flag.
He was beaten by Sonny Purdue (R) in his 2002 reelection campaign. Purdue went on the serve 2 terms.
Barnes is supported by teachers (read teachers unions) and women (read feminists). My personal pet peeve is that his campaign commercials say “That’s not Fair!” Life’s not fair, Roy.
Heh.
Like Fuzzy’s TBF post, I think this is a rad blog concept. Reading an endorsement from some local MSM newsrag seems pretty pointless: “We support the Democrat in this election because he’s not a racist teabagging bigot who drowns puppies while ensuring homosexuals are not allowed to breathe in the same room as breeders, like his REPUBLICAN opponent.” Even better is when the paper dares to support a Republican, it’s almost always some useless RINO asshair (see Graham, Lindsey: Whiney Limp-Wristed Moderate Mush-SC).
How many times can you read that kind of bullshit without wanting to wrap your mouth around a gun barrel?
Unlike the mainstream libtard media, reading an endorsement from a blogger you trust would seem to be more illuminating. Bonus: More often than not, the blogger will at least be more entertaining than some editorial page flunky at the New York Times or the Boston Globe.

Heh heh… you know how I feel about the women’s vote, right? I think it should be taken away from us, and this is why: we vote in nanny-government.
