Post-Debate Wrap Up

Posted by KingShamus on October 12, 2012

Well, what did I tell you?

Here, in case you forgot my amazing analysis, let me quote a post I wrote three hours ago.

Quick Prediction:  Paul Ryan is going to do do well, but Sheriff Joe is sure to get a few cheap shots in.  Upon witnessing Biden’s awesome verbal prowess, progressive blogs collectively cream their jeans at the Vice-President ‘getting tough’ on the Wisconsin congressman.  The rest of the leftstream press will play up even the slightest Biden zinger as the second coming of Cannae.  Watch for Chris Matthews talking about his thrilling leg-tingles again.  Try not to watch Excitable Andy Sullypants get thrilling tingles south of his belt buckle.

Watching PMSNBC, the socialists were very stoked that Joe Biden came out swinging.  They loved it when Biden interrupted Paul Ryan 60 some-odd times.  Every Biden zinger was a master-stroke of strategeriffic brilliance.  Every eye-roll was a sarcastic rebuke of those eeeeeevil reich-wing Rethuglicans.

So here, courtesy of the RNC, is the Slow Joe that so captivated the hearts and loins of the statist caucus.

The problem with this awesomely awesome debate performance is two-fold.  Biden’s giggling over things like the Benghazi terrorist attack and Medicare shitting the mattress may seem like zany hi-jinks to the leftists watching the debate.  But contrary to the liberal conventional wisdom, most people don’t respond well to a horse-toothed geriatric laughing his ass off every time somebody speaks.  Only people who are already on Team Obama’s bandwagon will respond positively to Biden’s nonsense.

Furthermore, Biden’s attack-dog act can’t be replicated by Barack Obama.  Likability is the last ace the president has left to play.  The Kos Kooks desperately want Barry to turn the next debate into an MMA slugfest.  They crave red meat, especially now that Obama is getting shellacked in some of the swing states.  However, if Obama starts getting angry, he’ll lose the one advantage–and it’s a fading one at that–he has over Romney.

Don’t get it twisted.  In the right situations, a candidate can look strong and raise their profile if he talks tough against his opponent.  For ultra-partisans, it can be emotionally cathartic to watch their preferred candidate get mad during a stump speech.  The faithful need to see their leaders get as passionate as they are about the important issues of the day.

But Barry can’t treat a televised debate like a campaign stump speech.  He cannot give in to his maniac base.  He’ll turn into an unlikable dickbag, Romney will appear like a grown-up and this race will be over before the debate ends.

The Democrats had a nice night because they will respond positively to Joe Biden’s oafish blustering.  The vice president  probably stopped some of the bleeding in the demoralized Donkey-Puncher base.  That has to count for something.

Paul Ryan did well enough making a pitch to moderates and conservatives.  He wasn’t at his best, but he did pretty good considering he was fighting against Biden and the moderator.

Unaffiliated voters won’t be horrified by Ryan.  They will be very turned off by the Chuckling Joe.  In the next few days, Ryan’s shortcomings will seem less negative.  Biden’s goofy demeanor will stick around and be talked about over the next few days.  It might not hurt the Obama campaign in the long run, but it won’t win them any fans that they didn’t already have.

Paul Ryan and Joe Biden Do The Thunderdome Two-Step Tonight

Posted by KingShamus on October 11, 2012

You know where I’ll be.

My twitter feed is your friend.

Martha Raddatz, the Dollar Store version of Diane Sawyer, is sure to be a big help for Team Barry.  I know some folks on our side want to play up the big conflict of interest, but nobody inside the liberal hive mind cares, so whatevs I guess.  I’m sure the Democrats would be super-stoked if it was a Fox News dude having such a cozy relationship with the sitting President.  [sarc/]

No, what I’m annoyed about is that Martha Raddatz is the best moderator the debate organizers could get.  The woman is a walking Daily Kos concern-troll.  Here is the stink-face she puts on whenever her dainty widdle ears pick up a political statement to the right of Noam Chomsky.

This wacky broad’s entire career has been built on soft-socialist do-gooder bullshit.  Every story she writes assumes that the Democrats are the saviors, while and the GOP is riddled with crypto-Nazis, knuckle-dragging Bible thumpers and pollution-loving corporate raiders.  ABC News can whine all they want about her bulletproof objectivity, but everybody knows she’s a leftist.  Everyone, that is, except the Republicans who didn’t object to Raddatz being the moderator for this debate.

Oh well.

Speaking of the debate, Manhattan Infidel has an inside scoop on Joe Biden’s intense preparations for tonight’s showdown.

In Vice President Biden’s camp, optimism reigns.

“We are going to crush Ryan” said an aide who wishes to remain anonymous.

Joe Biden is one of the intellectual lights of the Democratic Party.  He’s a deep thinker and an expert in foreign policy.  That’s where we are going to attack Ryan.  We’ve been in intense mock debates the past few days and the Vice President is more than ready.   He knows all the answers.  Why I just finished asking him who the Prime Minister of Zimbabwe was.  He replied, “Some guy” which, technically, is the correct answer.  So you see, we are very confident.  I just wish the debate was scheduled for earlier in the evening as we don’t like to keep the Vice President up past his bed time.

Read the rest.  Da Infidel kills it.

See you all in the Twitterverse.

Nathan Lane: Prince Barry’s Court Jester

Posted by KingShamus on August 25, 2012

It’s springtime for Obama in the Hamptons.

“I love Nurse Jackie, she can’t get through the day without Vicodin, Adderall, Percocet, Xanax and Oxycodone—which, oddly enough, also happens to be the names of Mitt Romney’s five children,”

Nathan Lane at a Obama fundraiser…

It’s a good thing the organizers of this rubber chicken dinner hired a first-rate comedic genius like Nathan Lane. Leave it to him to make the hilarious connection between a narcotic-addicted fictional TV character and Mitt Romney’s five grown sons, none of which have ever been accused of having drug problems.  Add to that how Vicodin, Adderall, Percocet, Xanax and Oxycodone sound just like Taggart, Matthew, Joshua, Benjamin and Craig.  Lane simply had to go with such a great bit.

Folks on the right are gonna get mad because a Hollywood liberal made fun of Romney’s sons, who are not running for political office.  The thing is, after the last four years nobody in the conservative movement should be shocked when actors and musicians throw cheap shots at the children of Republican politicians.  As much as the political wing of the socialist movement constantly calls for civil discourse, they can always count on their allies in the entertainment division to blow right through any rules that put family members off-limits.

This is one reason why the progressive alliance with the American media puts conservatives at a huge disadvantage.  Democrat politicians can always stay above the fray.  They can play the high-minded thinker act for the public with the knowledge that somebody from Hollywood will gladly break every rhetorical limit to score a shot against Republicans and conservatives.

But that’s not the worst thing.  I keep hearing how Nathan Lane is a wonderous comedic talent.  Where was that genius for getting laughs when he wrote the ‘Romney kid’s’ bit?  The joke only works if you’re a brainless trained-seal Romney hater: “ROMNEY’S KIDZ ARE NAMED DRUGS!!!!  DRUGS FUNNY!!!!  HAR-DEE-HAR!!!!”

I mean, I guess Nathan Lane should get some credit for understanding the desires of his audience.

Then again, what does it say about the rich Obama supporters that they respond to such a hacky stupid ham-handed joke?

Green Jobs Ecological Fun Time Policy Show With Obama!

Posted by KingShamus on March 25, 2012

Ever wonder how St. Barry and his minions come up with energy policy in America?  Friend of BDKS Innominatus gives us a peak inside the deepest recesses of the White House brain trust.  Its not pretty.

pResident Obama and Energy Secretary Steven Chu are reclined on the White House porch.

[Obama] “OK. I’m about to unveil our new energy policy. But just in case the teleprompter hiccups, let’s go over it one more time.”

[Chu] “Alright. We start by announcing that all incandescent light bulbs will be immediately illegal, and all citizens have 24 hours to relinquish them to a government-approved disposal center. The incandescent, or ‘Edison’ bulbs must be replaced by CFL lamps. Which is extra cool, since we both own stock in CFL makers.”

[Obama, nodding] “Uh-huh, uh-huh.”

[Chu] “Then we have the jackboots begin inspecting homes for contraband Edison bulbs citizens may be trying to keep and/or hide. We’ll prioritize our search so that republican regions get searched first. Violators will be sent to starvation camps.”

[Obama] “Michelle will like that. Finally getting some victory in the War on Obesity and all that.”

Shelley The Sometime First Lady And Full-Time Amateur Dietician strikes again.

Read the rest at the link homies.  Innominatus, for the win.

Barack Obama shouldn’t brag about the surge…

Posted by KingShamus on September 1, 2010

…And the vile Democrats shouldn’t be allowed to rewrite their flip-flopping history about the Iraq War.

First, let’s see what the Donkey-Puncher Party said about Saddam Hussein and Iraq before the war.

Now, here’s a sampling of Democrat opposition to the surge, back when they thought they could get some political mileage out of it.

Nancy Pelosi:

“The president’s escalation plan repeats past mistakes. The stakes in Iraq are too high to recycle proposals that have little prospect for success.

Harry Reid:

“I believe myself that the secretary of state, secretary of defense and – you have to make your own decisions as to what the president knows – (know) this war is lost and the surge is not accomplishing anything as indicated by the extreme violence in Iraq yesterday,” said Reid, D-Nev.

Hill-Dawg Clinton:

“Our brave troops have been doing everything asked of them for four and a half years. And they have been doing everything asked of them since the Administration announced the surge. The surge was designed to give the Iraqi government time to take steps to ensure a political solution to the situation. It has failed to do so. The White House’s report in September won’t change that. It is abundantly clear that there is no military solution to the sectarian fighting in Iraq. We need to stop refereeing the war, and start getting out now.”

Joe Biden

“If he {President Bush}  surges another 20, 30 [thousand], or whatever number he’s going to, into Baghdad, it’ll be a tragic mistake.”

John F-ing Kerry:

“The simple fact is that sending in over 20,000 additional troops isn’t the answer–in fact, it’s a tragic mistake. It won’t end the violence; it won’t provide security;  .  .  .  it won’t turn back the clock and avoid the civil war that is already underway; it won’t deter terrorists, who have a completely different agenda; it won’t rein in the militias.”

Dick Durbin:

“By carefully manipulating the statistics, the Bush-Petraeus report will try to persuade us that violence in Iraq is decreasing and thus the surge is working. Even if the figures were right, the conclusion is wrong.”

And finally Barack Obama, with some lying sack of shit David Axelrod thrown in:

The Democratic Party has tried to manipulate the politics of our involvement in Iraq in any way they could for well over ten years.  They have lied time and time again.  They’ve lied in order to score cheap political victories.  Most destructively, they have lied in ways that undercut the American soldiers they voted to put into harm’s way.

And now, after all that blatant opportunistic dishonesty, Barack Obama dares to take a victory lap for himself.  The self-regard this man has for himself knows no shame and no limits.  The President’s speech last night was a big self-satisfied pat on the balls:  “Look here, all you fan-bois on the Left, I ended the Iraq War!  Where’s my scratch-n-sniff sticker telling me I’ve been a good guy?”  Meanwhile, the troops…you know, the people who did the actual fighting and dying…gave Barack Obama the opportunity to preen his feathers about ending the war.  What does St. Barry give them in return?  The promise of some new government programs that will never actually be enacted.  Gee, that’s just swell.

Oh and of course, because Barack Obama is some kind of Stalinist jag-off, he can’t bear to say that America won the war.  Nope, no siree.  No we just ‘ended’ the war.  After all this time, after all this sacrifice of blood and treasure, all the pointless division and rancor seeded and nutured and harvested by members of his party and his ideological soul-mates, after all that pain, Barack Obama cannot bring himself to say that we have secured victory in the Iraq war.

Why can’t the President even mutter under his breath the term ‘Win’?  Because that would then give credit to that most evil of Americans, George W. Bush.  If St. Barry even for a second gives Dubya props, the whole ideological landscape of the loony left will have to be altered in ways detrimental to Obama’s personal and political narrative.

Think about that for a moment.  Barack Obama cannot say we won the war because it would politically painful for him to do so.  What does that say about the President?  What does that say about his supporters?

The IPad has lost or destroyed one person’s employment already

Posted by KingShamus on January 28, 2010

You knew this was gonna happen eventually.  But now what will Obambi use for an insurance policy?

(Washington D.C.) – SPN Headlines – President Obama said last night in his State of the Union address that he is focused on jobs. What most people didn’t realize is that he was referring to Apple CEO Steve Jobs.

Obama terminated Joe Biden as Vice President this morning saying ”That Steve Jobs dude is the smartest son of a bitch on Earth, and old Joe doesn’t know what day it is. I offered Steve the job but he said he can’t stand being around stupid people.

Obama then named a new Apple iPad as Biden’s replacement, saying “Did you see that frigging thing? It could run the country better than me but I still need the gig.” The iPad will take over immediately and assume the responsibilities of the Vice President, which include doing absolutely nothing.
